About BJJ

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that comes from judo. However, in BJJ the fight does not end after the takedown, but continues on the ground and is based on dominant positions, submissions and chokeholds.

BJJ is for absolutely anyone regardless of gender, age and physical preparation.

The principle of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is based on the fact that anyone can successfully protect themselves against a stronger opponent using technique.

Why BJJ?

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, you will participate in real contact wrestling. Nevertheless, the risk of injury is minimal as technique, tactics and strategic thinking prevail in BJJ.

The supplementary exercises and techniques learned will help you improve your overall fitness level, endurance, flexibility as well as whole-body coordination.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, team spirit and community are very important, so by training BJJ you won't just learn how to defend yourself in tough situations, but also make new friends!

BJJ - a sport for all
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone: women, children, the elderly, the young. Everyone will improve their physical fitness and acquire extremely useful skills for safety and self-defense. In BJJ there are no strikes to the head, practically no high-altitude takedowns, and almost 80% of the entire training time takes place on the floor.
What's even more interesting is that in BJJ also everyone has the opportunity to compete thanks to a division called 'masters' which starts from age 30 to ... whatever! So! If you want to embrace a new challege, fulfil a childhood dream of becoming a champion, or just gain competitive experience - come and train BJJ!
