Self-defence or personal safety is the ability to competently solve a critical issue with minimal injuries caused to you and your loved ones.
Statistics show that more than 80% of all street fights end up on the ground. Our self-defence classes are based on the principles of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with elements of striking and will help you develop useful self-defence skills.
Our classes are available to everyone who is 15 years old and older, regardless of gender and physical fitness.
Applicable skills
By attending self-defence at Combat Corner, you will:

Improve your general physical fitness, which in the context of safety is one of the most important factors.

Learn to control your own weight as well as the weight of your opponent.

Learn to get up quickly if you are knocked down, and to defend from the ground.

Learn how to free yourself from grips and gain an understanding of 'grip' as such.
